We bring all of the advantages of a small firm, such as having experienced focus area leaders directly involved with your project, yet provide a wide-range of in-house expertise typically found only at much larger firms. This is how we are able to serve the needs of the most sophisticated client.
Our firm’s organization and workload structure is based on focus areas. Each focus area is built on a particular area of proficiency. Each focus area has a manager and a team of specialists, typically comprised of professional engineers, surveyors, planners, technicians and designers, dedicated to our client’s assignments within that focus area.
For a small firm, we strategically use leading edge technologies to help sustain a competitive edge. We use electronic file management systems for an essentially paperless office. We run in a Windows environment (typically the latest version), and use electronic timesheets along with real-time project management and accounting software systems. Our multiple server based system allows for log-in to virtual desktops from any computer with internet access. We use VoIP based phone system which can be used anywhere in the world with an internet connection. Our survey crews utilize some of latest GPS technology available. Finally, our engineering software solution packages include AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, StormCAD, PondPack, FlowMaster, CulvertMaster, Flow 2D, ArcGIS, and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
