Robert Anderson, P.E., W.R.S., C.F.M.

Rob Anderson started R. O. Anderson Engineering, Inc. in 1989 and he is responsible for the daily activities of the firm. His broad experience planning, analysis and design of water system improvements, including municipal wells and distribution systems, sewage collection and disposal systems; hydraulic analysis of open channels; and bank stabilization improvements in stream environments. Rob is further accomplished and actively practices Nevada water right analysis and permitting, title documentation and, as necessary, provides testimony in hearings before the Nevada State Engineer.

Linda Biaggi, P.L.S.

Ms. Biaggi joined R. O. Anderson in the spring of 1990 and has extensive experience in the surveying, engineering, and planning disciplines. She is currently responsible for land surveying projects involving legal descriptions, boundary resolution, patent and deed research and analysis, FEMA floodplain applications and, ultimately, decisions regarding the integration of field-surveyed positions. Her knowledge of AutoCAD and its related civil and surveying software allows the concurrent compilation of field and boundary analysis into recordable documents, including exhibits to accompany legal descriptions, Records of Survey, Divisions of Land into Large Parcels, Parcel Maps, Subdivision Plats, Reversion to Acreage, and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys.

Matt Bernard, P.L.S.

Matt Bernard joined R.O. Anderson in 1992. As the Director of Surveying, Matt leads the firm’s land surveying group. Matt specializes in boundary and land title surveys. He is proficient in resolving conflicting title descriptions, analyzing legal descriptions for easement and right-of-way surveys, and preparing aerial control networks. In addition, Mr. Bernard has considerable experience performing construction control surveys for large-scale water and wastewater projects, urban streets, rural roads and local highways, significant commercial site development projects, and both large and small residential subdivisions. He has dedicated his professional career to the study and application of land surveying principles and is recognized regionally for his ability to effectively and professionally apply this knowledge to completing land surveys.

Todd Enke, P.L.S.

Todd Enke undertakes the bulk of the field survey duties performed at R.O Anderson. Types of projects range from topographic mapping and construction layout to boundary retracement and utility district mapping. As well as his field responsibilities, Mr. Enke also prepares FEMA Flood Elevation Certificates. In addition to the years of survey experience, Mr. Enke’s extensive knowledge of Trimble GPS, Robotic Total Stations, and Digital Level equipment set him apart from others in the industry.

Stephanie Hicks, AICP

In her role as Senior Planner/Grants Professional, Stephanie proactively apprises clients of federal and state grant opportunities in the areas of hazard mitigation, transportation, water and wastewater, parks, open space, energy efficiency/clean energy, economic development, capital improvements, environmental and resource conservation. Stephanie’s responsibilities include interpreting complex grant regulations and requirements, determining eligibility, compiling data, and preparing reports regarding program activities and funding sources. Ms. Hicks prepares grant applications to secure funding for federal and state programs, researches and recommends long-range plans and projects within grant guidelines and funding cycles. Stephanie is also involved with direct client advocacy, as well as legislative and regulatory research.

Marie Hulse, ASLA, CPESC

Marie is recognized within the firm for her skills in landscape design, erosion control and revegetation plans, planning, and graphic design. Her project experience routinely requires her to prepare site design, construction drawings, and presentation graphics for a variety of large and small scale erosion control, landscape, and irrigation projects. Clientele for these projects range from commercial, residential, institutional, conservation and governmental agencies throughout northern Nevada and eastern California, including the environmentally sensitive Lake Tahoe Basin.

Jeremy Hutchings, P.E.

Jeremy Hutchings started with R.O. Anderson Engineering in 1997 as an Project Engineer. Jeremy now directs the Infrastructure focus area and specializes in the design and permitting of institutional and light industrial, and commercial site development projects. His extensive design experience includes erosion control and Best Management Practices, site lay-out, utility location and extensions, storm drains (including hydraulic design of detention/retention ponds), site grading, and design/permitting of project entrances with state highways. He has personally been responsible for the design and contract administration for numerous site improvement projects at various schools and several local churches. Jeremy has been involved in hundreds of projects in northern Nevada and eastern California, including permitting projects within the environmentally sensitive Lake Tahoe Basin, as well as the design of bank stabilization improvements in stream environments throughout northern Nevada.

Coleen Shade, AICP, LEED ap

Ms. Shade is a skilled environmental and land use planner. Her experience in the assessment of opportunities and constraints includes both ecological resources as well as community resources. Her solid understanding of natural resources, land use planning and community planning provides an integrated approach to her project management and a “real-time” understanding of implementation. It is her understanding that allows great flexibility in finding implementation solutions that address environmental, community, and economic interests.

Cory Kleine, P.L.S.

Cory is responsible for a wide array of surveying projects ranging from complex boundary solutions and historic sectional retracements to preparing creative graphic exhibits and detailed topographical surveys. He is also experienced using ArcGIS software and performing GIS data migration from CAD and other data formats. His extensive knowledge of AutoCAD allows him to prepare ALTA/ACSM surveys, topographical surveys and all types of record maps.

Susan McReavy, P.E.

Susan has been responsible for the engineering design of numerous residential and commercial development projects. Her primary emphasis has been the design of commercial site layout, utilities, grading, and hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and design. She is currently focusing her efforts on the contract administration of several projects located in the Tahoe Basin. Susan is known for developing close and comprehensive working relationships with clients, design teams and review agencies to successfully complete projects.

Kent Neddenriep, P.E.

Kent Neddenriep joined R.O. Anderson in 1990. As Director of Engineering, Kent directs our water/wastewater focus group and has extensive experience in the design of infrastructure improvements, including all elements of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, urban streets, rural roads and storm drainage systems. His expertise includes the detailed modeling of complex water distribution systems, pressurized sewers, storm drain networks with detention and treatment, alternative individual sewage treatment systems, and flood plains. Kent has encountered and solved countless difficulties with design, construction and permitting. He has the expertise and knowledge to provide creative, cost effective solutions to intricate and highly constrained projects.

W. Andrew Nolting, R.D.

Andy has extensive experience in residential design throughout northern Nevada and California. He has worked with owners, contractors and developers on the design of numerous projects, including custom homes, production homes, duplexes, triplexes and four-plexes. Andy has worked in mountain environments, such as the Lake Tahoe basin and Kirkwood, California, giving him valuable experience in mountain style architecture and working with the restrictive requirements of environmentally sensitive agencies such as the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA).

Keith Ruben, MBA, AICP

Keith Ruben joined R.O. Anderson in 1997, and now serves as the Director of Planning and Human Resources. He is an accomplished land use planner who specializes in the planning and entitlement of well-integrated community plans in sensitive environments. His work includes the evaluation of environmental, physical and administrative constraints; development of alternative land use plans; preparation of design guidelines and land use ordinances; and the presentation of plan elements to public decision-makers of all levels.

David Thompson, Ph.D., P.E., P.H., D.WRE, C.F.M.

Dr. Thompson is an accomplished professor, researcher, analyst, and design engineer. His professional career is dedicated to the thorough analysis and application of documentable engineering principles to the design of hydrologic and hydraulic structures in Colorado, Missouri, Texas, and northern Nevada. His expertise is development and application of numerical and physical models, application of statistic and stochastic methods to analyze hydrologic data, and application of hydrodynamic models to complex problems. In cooperation with researchers working for U.S. Geologic Survey (USGS), Lamar University, and University of Houston he directed or participated in more than 30 funded research projects emphasizing surface-water and ground-water hydrologic processes.

Ralph Wenziger, P.E.

Ralph has over 15 years of broad professional experience in the planning, engineering and management of large and complex municipal projects. He has been the project manager and licensed professional responsible for a multitude of large-scale public and private development projects, from master planning, engineering and document coordination to specific drainage, sewer, and water master plans, capital improvement programs, and final design.

Jonathan Young

Leading the firm’s information technology department, Mr. Young’s role has grown from day to day operations of R.O. Anderson network infrastructure to supporting our client information technology services. Mr. Young’s current responsibilities range from providing IT budgets to network design and server deployment. He is proficient with all types of hardware and software required to operate small to large business infrastructures including Cisco routers, Sonicwall Firewalls, Sonicwall VPN devices, VoIP, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, ISCSI, NFS devices, VMware, SQL, Website hosting, and Cloud computing.
